telling us he was told she passed away minutes before this interview. too distraught, rogers is consoled by neighbors across the street, hope hoping now the other hit will pull through. on the other side of the city, in all too familiar story, before 8:00 last night, another triple here in the 2600 block of east preston, andre curry killed, two others injured. in between on york road in north baltimore, another man found dead after shots were heard behind the home in the alley. there are few details on this murder other than adding to the number of murders in one two- hour period. a figure police call today, quote, intolerable. >> these are targeted

incidents. victims knew the suspects, they were targeted for silly things. >> reporter: silly, a debt in one case and drugs in the other. either way it calls for a response and police are promising increased surveillance and foot patrols where the shootings occurred hoping to shake loose a beat on the suspects because while they are getting trips from the triple shooting on west fayette, they are getting close to no cooperation on the east side. >> the case on preston street, the cooperation is not there. it's making it difficult. we are asking everyone to call us at the homicide section. >> the number is 410-396-2100. the eastern southwestern and northern districts are not the only areas getting patrols. unrelated staffing this is memorial day weekend, as a general practice, police say to look for 5 offers patrolling the inner harbor and academy

class to help out with the holiday hus hustle and hustle downtown. police arrested a man for the craigslist robberies. david brown was taken in to custody at a library in the city while he was using a computer. detectives believe brown used craigslist to lure people to a spot and robbed them. clients seeking illegal documents along south broadway in baltimore must have thought they were getting a bargain. for as little as $50 a piece. the feds shut down the operation. jeff hager joins us with more on the bust. >> federal agents say illegal immigrants could order social security cards, green cards, or driver's licenses in the morning and ready the same afternoon. for two years, the fraudulent document with the equivalent of salesmen on the streets to find new orders. at the time the feds swept in and arrested nine foreign

nationals they produced thousands of documents and turned a profit of almost $1.7 million, while ice tarts illegal immigrants for deportation, this operation raises stakes, potentially threatening home land security. >> most individuals that are purchasing these documents are trying to get employment, our concern is that they take the documents whether a member of a criminal organization or terrorist organization and they get work at a critical infrastructure area, airport or nuclear power plant or military base or defense contractor. those are things that we worry about. >> reporter: the documents could be used for identity theft. such as taking out credit cards or filing bogus tax returns. all suspects face long prison sentences with no chance for parole and deported once they serve their time. jeff hager, abc2 news.

is in custody as scott goldberg reports after leads and squashed hopes, the confession of a new jersey man may end one of the most baffling missing person's cases. >> reporter: 33 years ago, pates convinced his mom to let him walk to the bus alone for the first time. 51-year-old hernandez seen here in pictures obtained by inside edition, lured the boy in to the corner store with the promise of a soda. he led him in to the basement, choked him there, and disposed of the body by putting it in to a plastic bag and placing it in to the trash. >> reporter: police said hernandez confessed in a tearful 3.5 hour interview but didn't say what the motive was, he would have been 19 years old on the day he disappeared. police re-opened the case last month and haven't found

new details about a search for macing girl in arizona. roosevelt leftwich is here with the latest on that story. >> reporter: police released hundreds of pages of row cord from the month long search for little isabelle. a sound of details in the case, every page highlight as clue, tucson police followed the search for isabelle and searched from lakes to trash cans, they found dead animals and bags coverd with magets, rotting rattlesnake carcasses and little girl's shoes but nothing led them to isabelle. all family members swabbed for

dna. blood samples, police questioned rebecca about other children and whether they could hurt isbell. sergio fell asleep on the couch before joining rebeckca in bed at 5:00 a.m. , the morning me disappeared. the window was closed the last time he saw isabelle. police collected footprints, blood found on the floor of a unspecified residents. there is a thorough ininvestigation, police looked in to every lead that has come in no matter how farfetched. there is a call from a pay phone where the caller threatens to kill isabelle. two men confessed to playing a role only to recan't when they sobered up. the documents showed police covered bases, following leads from psychics that called in. isabelle was seen in april

bridge. moved our camera, sorry about that. ocean city, see a decent crowd today. it's going to be more packed at the beach as we work in to the latter part of the afternoon. morning fog, then the crowds, packing the beach here. christian, you would like to walk on the board walk wouldn't you? temperatures now in the mid-80s right now. again w the humidity, feeling warmer, just enough breeze to stir the air a little bit, not that much. again this is a extremely humid set up compared to what we tiply see in may, this would not be unusual in july. these are dew point numbers at 70. the highest you see the humidity, around 75 to 77. gives you an idea, heat index values feeling like 90 thanks to the humidity and across the area, limited activity here. we are watching disturbance offshore, keeping a weary eye on what could become beryl,

perhaps. it's a hot high pressure area keeping the heat ratcheting up. big ridge over the east coast, acting to hold the disturbance out to sea and prevent it from strengthening in a significant way. the chances for rain slim throughout the weekend. we could see a pop shower or storm. cloud cover directing in at times from the disturbance offshore. again, this disturbance now, positioned well off in in to the atlantic, the closest rain in to southern north carolina and couple hundred miles out from southern north carolina. we are okay with the system for our weekend here at the maryland beaches, del aware beaches. we will watch this with interest over the next couple of days. even if this strengthens some , the projection brings it in to south carolina, and georgia. overnight, down to 65, partly cloudy, mild and balmy.
